PALM SPRINGS, CA (June 16, 2020) – Two people suffered injuries in a crash involving an Amazon delivery truck on Palm Canyon Drive on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Escoba Drive at approximately 2:15 PM.
A report from the Palm Springs Fire Department said that the truck collided with a sedan. In addition, crews found the sedan down in an adjacent embankment.
Emergency crews sent two patients to an area hospital with minor injuries.
As a result, the truck sustained damage to the driver’s door.
The Palm Springs Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash. However, they don’t have additional details at this time.
