Rider Dies in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 20 [Anacortes, WA]
Vehicle and Motorcycle Involved in Fatal Anacortes Accident
ANACORTES, WA (June 12, 2020) – Police confirmed that a rider died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 20 late Friday evening.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near Christianson Road just after 10:00 PM.
A brief report showed that, for an unknown reason, the victim’s motorcycle struck an unidentified vehicle.
Emergency crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene. They did not release the victim’s name pending notification of next of kin.
Crews detoured traffic onto Christianson Road to give way to an investigation. However, it is still unclear what led up to the deadly crash.
