VACAVILLE, CA (June 15, 2020) — A driver died in a broadside collision at Browns Valley Road and Tipperary Drive last Thursday.
According to Vacaville police Lt. Dave Kellis, patrol officers arrived at the scene around 8:00 p.m. regarding a major injury collision.
Officers found a Chevrolet El Camino that had T-boned a Toyota SUV.
According to a preliminary investigation, the Chevrolet, driven by John Espinosa, was heading north on Browns Valley Road when it T-boned a westbound Toyota SUV coming from Tipperary Drive.
Firefighters responded soon after and tried extricating Espinosa from his vehicle. Although firefighters and paramedics administered life-saving efforts, the teen succumbed to his injuries.
