2 Injured in High-Speed DUI Accident on Coombs Street Near Division Street [Napa, CA]
2 Hurt in Multi-Car Fiery Crash in Napa
NAPA, CA (June 12, 2020) — Paramedics brought two people to a hospital following Sunday’s fiery DUI accident on Coombs Street near Division Street.
According to the Napa Police Department, the two people suffered minor injuries in the 2:00 a.m. accident. Investigators learned that the driver of an Audi A4, traveling at a high rate of speed northbound on Coombs Street, struck several parked vehicles.
Subsequently, the Audi caught on fire, which spread to a Jeep SUV — one of the involved vehicles.
Fortunately, the driver and passenger of the Audi were able to escape the flames and sustained only minor injuries. Paramedics shuttled them to Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment.
In the investigation, detectives learned that DUI played a role in the accident.
