One Dies in Multi-Car Accident on Manzanita Avenue [Carmichael, CA]
Multiple Vehicles Involved in Deadly Crash near Big 5 Sporting Goods
CARMICHAEL, CA (June 5, 2020) – Police confirmed that one person died in a multi-car accident in the 4000 block of Manzanita Avenue on Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near the Big 5 Sporting Goods around 10:00 AM.
The official report only indicated that there were multiple cars that were involved in the accident. In addition, one of it crashed into a pole. As a result, the pole was downed in the lanes.
Emergency crews said that one person died at the scene. They did not release the victim’s identity pending kin notification.
The pole blocked and the debris from the crash blocked the lanes of the roadway.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident. However, they did not release further details related to the case.
