Four Hospitalized After Crash on Thorne Street [Fresno, CA]
Vehicle Catches Fire in Fresno Car Crash
FRESNO, CA (June 4, 2020) – Emergency crews sent at least four people to the hospital after a fiery crash on Thorne Street on Thursday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Whitesbridge Avenue around 3:30 PM.
A Camaro was traveling at a higher rate of speed westbound when it collided with a pickup truck that was attempting to cross the intersection. As a result, the Camaro caught fire in the incident. In addition, the truck overturned and landed on its side.
Fresno Fire officials sent four people to the hospital. All victims suffered minor to moderate injuries.
Police did not suspect drugs, alcohol, or street racing to be factors in the crash. However, they continue to investigate the accident.
