Woman Faces Life-Threatening Injuries in Tucson Hit-and-Run
TUCSON, AZ (June 4, 2020) — A woman sustained life-threatening injuries following a hit-and-run accident near East Drexel Road and South Copper Plate Drive.
The Tucson Police Department urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of the driver involved to come forward with information.
The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. near Drexel Park. The unidentified driver fled the scene following the collision with the woman, believed to be in her 60s.
Due to the significant impact of the crash, the victim sustained life-threatening injuries. Her current condition is unknown at this time.
Authorities described the vehicle as a silver 2009-2010 Toyota Corolla, missing a driver’s side mirror and with possible damage to the fog light.
