Truck Driver Dead in Pedestrian Accident on Signal Butte Road [Queen Creek, AZ]

Truck Driver Struck and Killed by Another Vehicle near Riggs Road

 
QUEEN CREEK, AZ (May 29, 2020) – Police confirmed that a truck driver died in a pedestrian accident on Signal Butte Road on Friday.
 
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, the collision happened near Riggs Road.
 
A report from the MCSO showed that the victim got out of his truck to check the attached trailer. At the same time, another vehicle passed by and struck him.
 
As a result, emergency crews pronounced him dead at the scene. They did not release his identity pending kin notification.
 
MCSO does not believe speed or alcohol were factors in the crash. However, officials continue to investigate the case.
