Driver Killed in Car Crash on Avenue 18 1/2 [Chowchilla, CA]

Car Crashes into Semi-Trailer-truck in Fatal Chowcilla Accident

 
CHOWCHILLA, CA (June 2, 2020) – Police confirmed that a driver got killed in a car crash on Avenue 18 1/2 on Tuesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Road 13 at approximately 5:20 PM.
 
A report showed the victim traveling down 18 1/2 Avenue prior to the accident. For an unknown reason, the vehicle ran into the back of a slower tractor, hauling a large piece of farming equipment on the roadway.
 
As a result, emergency crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene. They did not release the victim’s identity pending kin notification. The driver of the trailer was not injured.
 
Police did not make any arrests. However, they are still investigating the crash.
