Fatal La Mirada Car Crash on Imperial Highway

 
LA MIRADA, CA (June 1, 2020) — Two people died in a fiery multi-car crash on Imperial Highway and 1st Avenue Friday evening.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a pickup and a sports car collided moments after speeding nearby around 5:40 p.m.
 
Deputies arrived and tried forcing the door of the pickup truck open in order to free its driver from the nearby burning Dodge Challenger.
 
At least two other vehicles became involved in the collision under unclear circumstances.
 
At this time, authorities have not released the names and identities of the two people who died in the crash.
 
No other information surrounding the accident was available.
