One Injured in Two-Car Accident on Highway 178 [Bodfish, CA]
Car Falls into Ravine in Accident near Kern River Canyon Road
BODFISH, CA (May 27, 2020) – Emergency crews said that one person suffered injuries in a car accident on Highway 178 on Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Kern River Canyon Road at approximately 8:15 AM.
CHP deputies found two vehicles at the scene. Due to impact, one vehicle went down in the ravine. In addition, it didn’t reach the water.
Crews said one person had minor injuries. However, they did not specify the condition of the victim.
One of the vehicles reportedly blocked the road, but the vehicle was moved shortly after.
Deputies continued to investigate the crash. However, they did not release further information.
