DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (May 22, 2020) – At least two people suffered injuries in a semi-truck crash on Indian Canyon Drive on early Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Mission Lakes Boulevard at approximately 12:50 AM.
A report from the Riverside County Fire Department said that fire officials found a sedan and a truck at the scene.
As a result, crews rescued two people that were trapped in the wreckage. They sent both victims to the hospital for treatment. One person suffered serious injuries, while the other one had moderate injuries.
The crash closed nearly three miles of Indian Canyon Drive for several hours while crews cleaned up the debris from the crash.
