Two Vehicles Crash in Deadly Sloan Crash
SLOAN, NV (May 23, 2020) – Police identified Anzhelika Nikolayeva as the victim who died after a car crash on Las Vegas Boulevard on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the block of 31881 Las Vegas Boulevard near Sloan Road at approximately 4:50 PM.
46-year-old Nikolayeva of Las Vegas was driving her 2008 Lexus traveling south through the parking lot when, for an unknown reason, it struck a 2004 Toyota Tundra. As a result, the Lexus continued to travel south through the parking lot, over a parking curb, through a chain-link fence, and into the landscaping before crashing into a tree.
First responders were about to transport Nikolayeva by helicopter to a Southern Nevada hospital when she died. They did not release the condition of the Tundra driver, a 51-year-old man from Garden Grove.
Police did not release further information. However, they continue to investigate the case with the Clark County coroner’s office.
To the family and friends of Anzhelika Nikolayeva, we would like to express our deepest condolences.
