Two Vehicles Involved in Accident near Mountain View Avenue
SELMA, CA (May 24, 2020) – Two people suffered injuries in a red-light accident on Highway 43 on Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Mountain View Avenue at approximately 10:30 PM.
A report from Fresno County deputies showed a white Ford Focus traveling eastbound on Mountain View when it ran a red light at the intersection. As a result, it rear-ended a blue car before it hit a utility pole. In addition, the collision brought down wires across the roadway.
Emergency crews took the Ford driver to the hospital with a possible head injury. The driver of the second vehicle was hospitalized with minor injuries.
Police did not release additional information. However, the crash is still under investigation.
