Michelle Jeffers Dies in Car Accident on Calle Contento [Temecula, CA]

One Killed, Four Injured in Fatal Accident near Madera De Playa Road

 
TEMECULA, CA (May 16, 2020) – Police identified Michelle Jeffers as the victim who died in a car accident on Calle Contento on Saturday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Madera De Playa Road around 4:50 PM.
 
The 50-year-old woman was driving her 2007 Mercedes-Benz E350 westbound on Madera De Playa before the accident. At the same time, Darnell Mills, 60, of Murrieta was traveling northbound on Calle Contento in a 2018 Ford Expedition. The two vehicles collided at the intersection.
 
As a result, Jeffers was airlifted to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar, where she later died due to severe injuries. Four other people, including Mills, suffered injuries in the incident.
 
CHP officials did not release further information regarding the crash. However, they continue to investigate the accident.
