FONTANA, CA (May 18, 2020) — A victim died Saturday morning after being struck by a vehicle in a DUI crash on Sierra Avenue near the 15 Freeway.
 
According to reports, the crash happened around 1:04 a.m. Officers believe that a 36-year-old man driving a 2016 Dodge Challenger struck the pedestrian under circumstances that demand further investigation.
 
The driver remained cooperative at the scene as police officers questioned him. During their investigation, officers learned that alcohol and/or drugs might have played a role in the accident. However, officers had not specified whether the driver or pedestrian was intoxicated.
