Jarnail Singh Dies in Two-Car Accident on South Union Avenue at Curnow Road
BAKERSFIELD, CA (May 14, 2020)—A head-on collision on South Union Avenue at Curnow Road left one person dead, say reports.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 8:30 p.m. when two cars collided under unclear circumstances.
Reports say there were two cars involved—a Nissan with three people and a pickup with two occupants.
Per reports, the CHP has ruled our impairment as a suspected factor in the crash.
Following the accident, paramedics took several injured patients to Kern Medical for treatment. One person was confirmed dead and has been recently identified as 58-year-old Jarnail Singh of Bakersfield.
Investigators are looking into the possible causes that drove the accident. If anyone has information regarding the crash, please call the CHP.
