Pedestrian Hit, Killed by Bus on Silverado Ranch Boulevard [Las Vegas, NV]
Man Dies in Las Vegas Pedestrian Crash
LAS VEGAS, NV (April 30, 2020)—A pedestrian died after being run over by a city bus on East Silverado Ranch Boulevard near South Maryland Parkway Thursday night.
The fatal accident happened around 8:53 p.m. near CVS Pharmacy.
According to authorities, a male passenger who had just exited the RTC bus fell under unclear circumstances. The man stumbled onto the street, under the vehicle’s rear tires, as the bus began pulling forward.
As a result, the victim, described as a man in his 40s, died at the scene.
Authorities are perplexed as to what caused the man to lose his balance and to fall headfirst into the gutter area of the stopped bus.
Because the man did not have any identification on him, police need the public’s help in identifying this person. Anyone with insight into this crash should call the authorities.
We would like to take this moment to express our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the victim.
