Dezaree Brown Killed in Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (April 30, 2020) — A woman died following Monday’s pedestrian crash on Las Vegas Boulevard North near North Hollywood Boulevard.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, a northbound yellow 2019 Peterbilt tractor struck Dezaree Chanice Noreen Brown, who was walking in the same direction. The impact sent the 18-year-old Las Vegas woman to the southbound lanes, where a second unknown vehicle also hit her.
 
Unfortunately, Brown died at the scene of the 10 p.m. crash.
 
The driver of the tractor-trailer waited for authorities to arrive and stayed for police questioning; however, the second driver fled the scene and failed to render aid. It remains unclear as to what caused the crash or where the liabilities fall.
 
Anyone with information surrounding the driver’s whereabouts should call the Nevada Highway Patrol.
