Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Anaheim

 
ANAHEIM, CA (April 27, 2020) — A man lost his life following Thursday’s hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Beach Boulevard near West Ball Road.
 
According to Anaheim Police Department Sgt. Shane Carringer, the incident occurred along Beach Boulevard between Ball Road and Orange Avenue. Police believe the man was standing in the northbound lane around 8:15 p.m. when the vehicle struck him.
 
As a result, the unidentified victim, described as a person in his 20s, sustained a serious head injury. Police found him unresponsive upon arrival and declared him dead shortly after.
 
At this time, investigators are working to determine his identity, as well as the vehicle that struck him. Anyone with information surrounding the driver or the vehicle involved should call local authorities.
