TUCSON, AZ (April 19, 2020) – One person suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian accident on Irvington Road near the Tucson Rodeo Grounds on Sunday night.
According to Tucson Police, the accident happened near 1st Avenue. Officers said the victim was not in a crosswalk when struck by an unidentified vehicle.
As a result, paramedics sent the pedestrian to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. Speed or impairment was not a factor in the accident. However, an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
