A blue sedan and a white truck were racing in the same direction when both drivers lost control. It was not clear which vehicle hit a wall and which one slammed into a tree.
 
A woman passenger was thrown from a vehicle and suffered serious injuries. The driver in the other vehicle, a man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the incident. Both were taken to a hospital for treatment.
