Man Dies After Pedestrian Accident on Highway 60 [Riverside, CA]
Fatal Vehicle and Pedestrian Accident near Market Street
RIVERSIDE, CA (April 5, 2020) – Police confirmed that a man died after a pedestrian accident on Highway 60 westbound on Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened just west of Market Street just before 10:00 PM. However, police are unaware of the details.
Riverside Police said that a vehicle ran over the victim. They identified a truck and sedan that stopped on the right-hand shoulder. However, it is not clear if both vehicles were involved in the incident.
The Riverside County coroner’s office pronounced the man dead at the scene. His name and age were not immediately known.
Police did not release any other information regarding the accident at this time. However, an investigation continues.
