Joseph Snyder Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Speedway Boulevard [Tucson, AZ]
One Dead in Motorcycle and Car Crash near Greasewood Avenue
TUCSON, AZ (April 5, 2020) – Police identified Joseph Javier Snyder as the person killed in a motorcycle crash on Speedway Boulevard on Sunday.
According to Tucson Police, the accident happened near Greasewood Avenue.
Reports from the Tucson Police Department showed that a passenger car was involved in the incident. Witnesses said that Snyder ran a red light and collided with a 2018 Volkswagen Passat.
Police determined that 26-year-old Snyder had died at the scene. Paramedics transported the passenger to Banner University Medical Center with serious injuries.
The driver of the Volkswagen stopped and stayed on the scene. Roadway evidence shows speed does appear to be a factor in the crash.
