Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident in Antioch
ANTIOCH, CA (March 30, 2020)—A Wednesday night broadside crash on Highway 4 and Contra Loma Boulevard left an Oakley man dead and several others injured.
According to authorities, the 52-year-old Oakley man perished when his car broadsided a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old male.
Police determined through investigations, the 52-year-old exited Highway 4 East at Contra Loma Boulevard. After that, he blew through a red light and collided with the teen’s vehicle.
The 18-year-old sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the accident and paramedics treated two people in the other vehicle before releasing them from the scene.
Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the 9:45 p.m. accident. However, if anyone has information surrounding the events that took place, please call officers.
