Man Killed in Las Vegas Pedestrian Crash on Buffalo Drive and Washington Avenue
LAS VEGAS, NV (March 27, 2020) — A tragic pedestrian accident at Buffalo Drive and Washington Avenue turned fatal Wednesday night.
The crash drew Las Vegas police and Nevada Highway Patrol to the scene where a driver struck the person in the travel lane, outside of a marked crosswalk.
According to Trooper Travis Smaka, a van traveling south toward Summerlin Parkway struck the unidentified victim. Unfortunately, the man suffered severe injuries and died shortly after.
As for his name, the Clark County Coroner’s Office will release it once the next of kin has been notified.
In the meantime, authorities have been vigilant in piecing together the events that took place prior to the impact. They encourage anyone with insight to share their knowledge.
