LANCASTER, CA (March 12, 2020) – A pedestrian suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Avenue J-2 northbound on Thursday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Sierra Highway around 9:40 PM.
Based on reports, the 40-year-old male pedestrian was crossing the street when a dark-colored sedan, possibly an early 2000s Nissan Altima, made an unsafe U-turn and struck him. However, the vehicle did not stop at the scene.
The victim sustained a broken leg in the accident.
