RENO, NV (March 19, 2020) – The authorities confirmed that one person suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Kietzke Lane on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Reno Police Department, the incident happened near Gentry Way around 3:15 PM.
Based on reports, the victim walked in the crosswalk. After that, an unidentified vehicle struck the victim. It was not yet clear if speed played a factor in the accident.
Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital for treatment. The paramedics described the victim’s injuries as minor.
The driver cooperated with police and was cited for failure to yield.
